1. Can I replace brushing with a waterflosser?

A waterflosser effective an adjunctive oral hygiene aid and should not replace regular brushing! Always give your teeth a good brush before using Hydrostream waterflosser to clean out remaining plaque and debris. 

2. How often should I use the waterflosser? 

Once a day, at least 1 minute each time! Our specially curated 310ml water tank allows you to do a complete and thorough clean without having the need to refill the tank. Always go on with a very slow movement to allow plaque disruption. 

3. I am experiencing some bleeding, is it normal? 

For new users, some discomfort and point bleeding can be expected. Gum bleeding is a sign of inflammation - mild inflammation can be resolved by brushing and flossing, however for more severe gum disease, a visit to your dentist is recommended! 

4. How often should I change the nozzle tip? 

Inside each set, there are 3 nozzle tips. Each nozzle tip should last an average of 4-6 months. If you require additional nozzles, they can be purchased separately.  

5.Is a waterflosser better than string flossing? 

In recent years, studies have been done to prove that waterflossers are as effective as regular flossing in removing plaque. What's even better is the ease and convenience of using a waterfloss. No more fumbling with the string floss!
